Thursday, May 8. Maggie and Sophie were
my driving companions.
On Friday,
we
went to the Columbia River Temple.
It is the busiest small LDS Temple in
the world.
On Saturday we
drove over to Mt. Rainer,
problem was
the roads leading up to the
park were still closed.
AHHHH,
so off to Mt. Vernon, WA to
see the tulips.
It was just a quick 650 mile
drive!
The following weekend we
drove on down to Pendleton, WA
to tour the Underground,
and Pendleton Woolen Mills.
Saturday morning we drove on down
to LaGrande, and then on
to Lake Wallowa, a short 76 miles on
a very windy road.
The lake is beautiful, the deer tame,
shopping so-so.
We decided not to stay over Saturday
night at Lake Walowa; since we were
finished seeing everything by 1 pm.
The tramway was closed, and the
road to Hell's Canyon still
snowed in! AHHHHHH!
We really did try!
Enjoy our pictures!

Is there really a "Hell's canyon"? That sounds nice. I suppose they can't make one of those in Utah.
