Circus!!!

This afternoon we (Paul, Natalie, Ethan, Kade, Addi and I) went to a circus in Orem. It was a minor league circus, BUT as in minor league ball fields, we were up close and personal. Paul and I got such a kick out of watching Kade; he was mesmerized. I just love doing fun things with the kids.

Afternoon of sewing

This afternoon I
embroidered 2 aprons for
girls at work.
It is kind of fun to
have special aprons, even
if we do get them pretty messy.

While they were sewing on the embroidery machine
I used my good old trusty 35 year old Viking
to finish these fabric books for the twins.

My Birthday

I am having a very nice birthday. Paul and went out to breakfast, a movie and then lunch.
Jackie and her work friends sang me Happy Birthday on the phone.
My mom called to sing Happy Birthday
Natalie posted the NICEST blog for me.
Becca sent me a video of the kids singing to me.

Tomorrow night is dinner at Eric and Jackie's with Natalie and family
Deb sent a gift card to Cold Stone.

Wow, a great day!!!!

Birthday party and taco challenge

Thursday night Jackie had a Birthday party for Eric and Ange, (Austin's girlfriend).

She had lots of yummy ice, cup cakes and apple crisp. Eric had

many of his friends came to help celebrate.

Saturday night we had a taco challenge at our house,

Eric, Jackie,Austin, Ange, Brandon, Krista, Yasmina (our

2 Dutch/English friends) all came.

After dinner we played sjoelbak (dutch shuffleboard)

Eric won the game with a score of 144!!!!

He got 29 disks in out of 30.

Way to go birthday boy.
