Fun in New Jersey.
I got to Philly on time, picked up a rental car,
and fought my way
across
the
Walt Whitman bridge,
down Rt.42,
in the RAIN during Rush hour.
Wednesday,
I went bowling with
Mom and Dad.
My high score
was 138!!!!!
For lunch we shared a
Delicious
Italian Hoagie
Yummy!!!
Then it was dinner
at friends
Rick and Sherie Troendle's
It is always good to see such
good friends!
Thursday
I drove to the
Washington, DC Temple.
It always is such a
thrill to round the
corner on I495
and see the
Temple!
After a 12:30pm session
I drove back up to
Baltimore,
to visit
Deb and Al.
Their son Greg,
graduated from
Auto mechanics school.
To celebrate we had
dinner at
OUTBACK.
Another,
Delicious dinner!
Thank you Deb!
Friday
Mom and I went shopping,
and sent Daddy to
bowling by himself.
We found some fun buys.
Then after dinner,
Mel & Ann,
mom and dad's former
neighbors
came over.
We played
chicken foot Dominoes
A good time was had by all!
Saturday
Mom and I went to a
yummy community church
breakfast.
Complete with homemade
waffles and omelets.
I even had
scrapple!!!
Then off to the Amish Market.
I got 1/2 a Shoefly pie,
and sticky buns!!!
Does it sound like all I
am interested in
is
FOOD???
Then on to
Somer's Point, NJ
to visit
Cousin Dottie (Dorothy) Drissel.
Sunday
Church in the morning,
it was SOOOO
good to visit with all of my
Church friends!!!!
In the afternoon,
Beverly Davis,
Robin AhPing,
& Tracy Naval
and I went to check
out the
Fellowship Hall where
Eric and Jackie
will have their
reception.
Robin was in
cloud nine
over the
commercial kitchen!!!
Yahoo!
Dinner
at
Joe and Kathy's.
As always,
Kathy out did herself.
Ryan & Marcella,
and
Jim & Beverly
also came.
Always a good time
with family!
Monday
Bowling again.
I did not have a
very good day.
At least I
broke 100
each game.
Dinner with
Pat O'Neil
then back to
her house
for HUGE
bowls
Turkey Hill
Chocolate Peanutbutter Cup
ice cream!!!!!
YUMMY!!!!
Tuesday
Brunch at
Cardinal.
A final game of
3 handed Pinochle
We played 3 times!
How fast the game
came back to me!!!
