Our little Maggie

Trip home to NJ
June 19 I left SLC for PHL. Just a short hop skip and a jump over to Chicago/Midway, then on to Philly. Sweet flight to Chicago, even the gates were close together, but then the WAIT started. Philly was having "bad" weather, our plane was delayed 4 hours. Ah the joys of air travel, at least I didn't have to drive. Got to Mom and Dad's about 1:30am, mom and I yacked until aleast 2:30am. Wed, we had lunch at Pal Joey's in Pitman, yummy Italian hoagies afterwards we dropped dad off a home and Mom and I got manicue and pedicures. Lovely!, Thursday I met friend Debby M. at Crystal Lake diner for breadfast, and lots of catching up and laughing. Then on to visit sister Chris for a few hours. finally back to Glassboro to visit with the AhPing family. Almost all of them. Had to be back to Mom's by 5pm for dinner.
Friday we went up to Cousin Barbara's for a birthday picnic for Uncle Clyde, he is 93 years old. Danny went to get him from the home. All of Barbara's girls and their kids were there, as was Dan and Natalie's son Jason, and his family. Dottie made in up from NJ and Kathy Sims came after work. Then over to Franconia for a Crouthamel dinner. Cousin Lonnie made some calls; she her husband Joe, Linda, Don and Aunt Marie came. And the 4 Compton girls and their familes. What a great time we had!
Saturday mom went to a funeral, and dad and I went to Joe's to pick up mom's china for Natalie. Joe did a great job of packing it all in two large suitcases. Problem was I had to do a little repacking. Almost took a 12 pck of Birch beer on carry on. Big no-no! After Joe's on to Tom and Kay's farm to see the baby mini horse, Clover.
Home again home again, jigityjig. Pick up mom and off to Alec's first bday picnic. Sunday church with my old friends, then drive to Atco to visit Rich and Sherie. Monday plans to Stathmere were canceled b/c of rain. So went bowling with mom and dad's group, I started out great, and then went down hill from there.
The "sister's" Mel and Ann came over Monday nite to play dominoes. Ann won the kitty. Tuesday back to PHilly, the pilot said the weather to slc was great. He lied!!!! we flew around Chicago for 40 min, then went to St. Louis for more gas, then back to Chicago to circle a while longer, landed then waited for a gate. Oh well, I did make it back to SLC 4 hours late. But paulie was there to get me home safe and sound!
