So folks, no pictures, I was a little too busy. Mondays Grammy's Day Care picks up Micah, Caleb and Jewelia about 2:30pm. We went to a kids haunted maze, and got a BIG pumpkin. After we got to my house we carved up the BIG pumpkin and another smaller one I had. The kids played out back. My children will remember being told, "It's a nice day, go out and play" Ethan bought Addie and Kade about 4:15. Kade was sleeping, he usually is after a car ride. So he didn't want dinner; but the rest of the kids liked it. After dinner we all went to the big playground in Riverton Park. Kade and Jewelia were good playmates; climbing the little kids ladders and going down the slides. Micah and Caleb made a "friend" right away, and played with her the whole time. Addie just walked around, climbed the ladders and wanted to be held. Then it was time to go home, we had strawberry milk shakes for dessert. YUM. Time for bed for Addie and 7pm. Kade and Jewelia went at 7:30pm, they slept in the "Frog Bedroom", Kade in the top bed, Jewel in the bottom. 8:00pm : Caleb and Micah went to sleep in the Big bed in the green room. Boy I have not lost my touch!!! Addie woke up at 7AM, I brought her back to bed with me until 7:45am, then we ALL got up. Caleb wanted waffles for breakfast. So while I whipped them up, the kids pulled everything out of the toys cabinets. Oh well, all got cleaned up, I had a shower, the kids ate, all got dressed, and brushed their teeth. When Becca picked her kids up there was not much sign of the mess an hour earlier. Caleb wants to know when they can have a sleep over at Grammy's again. How about it Becca??????

David and Sally at Snoqualmie Falls
Paul, Sally and David at the Falls It was fun to get re acquainted with David, we are the same age. He thinks I have the memory of an elephant when I related old family stories. It amazed me how much Dave is like my brother, Joe. They sit the same way!!! Peggy is an excellent cook and treated us to delicous meals. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!!
Paul and I visited my cousin, David Drissel and his family this past weekend. David and Peggy live in Sammamish, WA. Right next to Jackie's hometown of Redmond. The weather was BEAUTIFUL!!! David and Peggy the most gracious of hosts. Saturday we went to Washington Park Arboretum. These first two pictures were taken there. Aren't the colors of the leaves great?
Maggie is continuing the Halloween Doggie Tradition of wearing costumes. She is so small she just does not fill out the costumes as well as Lucy did. But she is a cutie!
Here are pics of Maggie and Lucy in the same Halloween costume. Lucy was bigger than Maggie, she is stuffing her pumpkin quite well. I am just one of those crazy people that love to dress up even the dog! Lucy, I hope you don't mind that Maggie is wearing you costume.
So here are my latest creations. It is fun to decorate for the holidays! Can you tell I like cats???? For these two, I copied cartoons from the internet, transfered them on to fabric, and WA-LA, I made this bench cover last year
Kade and Addie stayed over night that Natalie left for NJ. Kade was having a difficult time going to sleep; so I told him he could have ice cream for breakfast. Sure enough, the next morning I asked what he wanted for breakfast, "ICE CREAM" He was a happy boy after that!
Friday morning, Natalie, Kade, Addie and I had a fun visit to Gardener Village. First we visited the petting zoo. These animals were so docile and friendly! Kade loved all of them and had fun petting them all!
Potbelly pig
Notice the goat is eating the stroller, Addie doesn't seem to mind
This is Sally the Pig, with 2 babies. When Natalie asked Kade what the big pig's name was he said, "Grammy the pig"
Thursday was Caleb's 5th Birthday. He asked for a bowling party. Kade very happy to help celebrate. Notice the extra large bowling shoes, Kade was so proud of them.
Caleb and Micah all set to go.
Addie really wanted to bowl, not sure she could manage the ball
Caleb asked for bowling ball cupcakes. Becca did a great job on them once again!
