Pioneer Day picnic

Saturday was "Pioneer Day" in Utah. The day the first Mormon pioneers came to the Salt Lake Valley.
We had a picnic to celebrate. The grandkids all had a fun time swimming.
Macey, 2 1/2 years old is our newest little fish. She had such a good time!
The kids enjoyed each other and getting to eat as much as they wanted.

New Jersey Days

I was in NJ for 3 weeks, helping out with the twins.
What cute boys..... They are 3 months old now, smiling and "talking"
Jack has been rolling over onto his belly since he was 11 weeks old.
Evan is growing so much, he is heavier than his brother now.
Brian and Rachel are wonderful parents, very busy, very loving to
their boys.
I know why God gives babies to young people; us old folks just get
too tired.
I loved being with the boys 24/7, they are so precious.
Mom, Dad and I went to PA twice to visit both sides of the family.
I spent a day with Rick and Sherie, played dominoes with Mom, Dad and the girls twice,
went to Chris Troendle's wedding, had hoagies, Turkey Hill ice cream, water ice,
a cheese steak, brought home birch beer and tasty kakes. Went to my "home" ward of church to reconnect with old friends. The twins were Blessed, and had a lovely party afterwards. Enjoyed Rachel's mom and Poppy.
What more can I say????

Brandon's new bathing costume

 

 

Brandon needed a new bathing costume.
The old one has seen much better days.
So off to Joann Fabrics we went.
Brandon decided on black and green.
Using the old costume as a pattern we
fashioned a new improved model.

Happy 63ard Anniversary Mom and Dad

June 28 is Sam and Dolly's 63 wedding anniversary. Here are few pictures of them through the years. I don't have any of us growing up; will have to raid Mom's pictures.
My mom and dad were the best parents, REALLY! They NEVER argued( that I heard), were there for us, taught us honesty, hard work and love of family.
