Swimming lessons at Hemingway's pool

So our neighbor says to me last week,
"Could we have swimming lesson in your pool?"
"Sure, as long as my grandkids get lessons
for free."
Last night was the first night of lessons.
About 15 kids from the neighborhood came;
first Andrea ( the teacher) had to
check out their abililities, put them in
"first night" classes.
Tonight there will be 4 classes of 30 minutes each.
Kade and Addie were not so sure about the lessons;
Jewelia, Caleb and Micah liked them.
More pictures to follow!

Riverton 4th of July Parade

Tonight Paul and I
went to the Riverton
4th of July parade.
There were 97 entries
Paul found a great parking place
close to the beginning of the parade.

The top 2 pictures are for Eric and Jackie

The kids LOVED all the candy
that was being thrown.
It reminded me of the Washington Twp.
parade we used to take the kids to.
LOTS of candy!

Fun with Beverly and Jim Davis

Jim and Beverly Davis made a return visit to
Utah. They have been on a marathon trip across the
country.
They came on Tuesday afternoon,
we went up to Murray Park that evening with Micah and Jewelia
to see Irish Dancers and and listen to
an Irish musical group.

Note the pictures are out of order

Water Wheel at Gardener Village.
Paul and Jim found all the benches to sit on ,
and Beverly and Sally found all the neat
shops to look in.

Jim with "Petunia", after we had a delicious lunch
of Caputo's sandwiches, Dutch potato frites, and
real Belgian waffles. We wattled away after that.
Bison on Antelope Island in the Great Salt Lake
We had a wonderful time.
Also went to the Oquirrh Mountain Utah Temple open house,
Welfare Square, and the Joseph Smith Building
to see the movie of the life of Joseph Smith.
Eric and Jackie came for dinner Thursday evening, then we went back
to show off their house.
We were sorry that Jim and Beverly had to leave
on Friday morning, but understand that
they need to get on home.
