Last night we lost a great leader and friend.Gordon B. Hinckley died at
7pm, Sunday, Jan 27.
When we first heard the news broadcast
I think we were in shock.
How could this be??
President Hinckley was 97 years old,
we felt he would live forever.
I am sad, to lose a friend, but so
happy for President and Sister
Hinckley to be together again.
I know he missed her deeply.
If you are not LDS, you might
not feel our loss, please know
that Gordon Hinckley was an amazing man
who led our Church with spiritual insight, humility,
and humor.
Thank you for loving us as you did,
Until we might again.
