Let it SNOW

So this is Utah in Spring!

For the second morning in a
row we woke up to snow!
I guess it is good for the grass
and some flowers.
They say it will snow at least
once in April, I will keep you
posted!

Connor and Joe Hemingway keep Aunt Sally company

Paul's brother Shawn, and his wife, Zeta,
had to go to Fort Worth, TX for the
weekend.
Their 2 middle kids, Connor, 9,
and Joseph, 7,
stayed with me.

Connor and Joe are boys after my own heart,
they LOVE to play outside.
Luckily the weather co-operated,
and we have plenty of neat
parks and playgrounds in the area.
We went to at least one park each day!

On Saturday, I picked up Micah,and Caleb
and we all went to Murray Park
to play.
This park has the
neatest merry go round type of equipment.

The boys all took turns of falling off,
Joey was the King of staying on!
Oh, can you tell it was a bit cold
on Saturday?
Thank you boys for keeping me company
for the weekend!
It was fun and you were
very good!

Easter Egg Hunt

Today after dinner
the kids had their Easter Egg hunt
in our backyard. Grandpop really did
a good job of placing the eggs. He even
put out some "fake" eggs.
I think Kade was the
fastest this year.

Jewelia got the hang of it.
She looks so cute in her pink Easter Dress!
Sorry the kids were so fast, I did not get
anymore pictures of the hunt!
They did like the candy and
money in the eggs.
After the little kids had their hunt,
the BIG kids had theirs.
Sorry to you guys that could not
make it this year!

Pizza and a Movie

Last night we had the Spjute's
over for Pizza & a Movie!
We watched "Bee Movie"
That movie room Grandpop
has is really neat!

Even little Macey enjoyed it!

Micah's Grandparents Program

The Second Graders in Micah's school
had a Wonderful
Grandparents Program on
Thursday.
All of the Second Graders
had a short speaking
part; and
they sang at least
10 songs to us.
Plus,
there was a power point show of all the
children's baby pictures and
a family picture.
Afterwards
each child served his grandparent
yummy chocolate chip cookies and punch.

Kade & Addie love the playground

Kade asked if we could go to the
little playground. Riverton has some
wonderful playgrounds for the kids.
Here is Kade up high, looks like he is in jail!

Thanks to neighbor Diane, for
letting us use her double stroller.
We walked to the park, then came
home via the Jordan River
(or ditch as Ethan calls it)
walk way. Kade was a little
concerned b/c he thought
we were lost.
A good long walk, with
lots of hills to push the kids up.
I am tired and going to bed
early!
