Happy 6th Birthday, Jewelia!!!!

Happy birthday to Jewelia!!! She was 6 years old on Friday, May 6.
Paul and I were in Holland when she was born, sure glad we are home
to help her celebrate now.
Jewelia and I went to Joann Fabrics Friday afternoon to pick out the fabric for
her sparkly skirt. I think she made great choices!
Afterward she got her nails painted and we went out for dinner at McDonald's.
Jewelia is a sweet granddaughter who loves to dance and play the violin.

Tulip Time

April 30 snow means cold tulips!!!

This morning we woke up to a couple inches of snow in Riverton. So of course Kade and Addi had to
go out to play in it! Since we were not expecting the snow, they had to improvise on clothing.
Good thing the magic trunk holds lots of extra clothing. They only stayed outside for a short time,
but had to get "broomed" off before they could come back in the house.

My poor tulips!!! They sure are cold!! I think they will survive, snow builds character

Easter Egg hunt at Grammy & Grandpop's

Our family Easter tradition is an Egg Hunt at our house. Kade and Addi had fun collecting them!

Easter Saturday with the Grandkids

We had a fun weekend.
Friday I picked Kade and Addi up to go to
Jackie's company's Easter Egg Hunt in Lehi.
The kids found LOTS of eggs and received prizes too.
Saturday morning we all went to Riverton Park
for a HUGE egg hunt
The fields were fenced off by age group.
Grandpop stayed with Kade,

We had a late lunch at Artic Circle, the kids were the only ones in the playground.

At 3:00pm we went to Jewelia's FIRST violin recital !!!
She played 2 songs, did very well, and looked cute as a
button in her daisy dress.
Yeah, Jewelia!!!

Paul S. and kids come for a visit

Last weekend Paul's son, Paul Spencer, and his 3 kids
came for a visit.
They had a jam-packed mini-vacation.
Skiing, Moab, Planet Play, Biggest Family Dinner Yet,
Temple Square.
