Sewing Day

Today I spent the whole day in the

sewing room. I have been wanting to

get these projects finished for weeks now.

A "wild and crazy" blouse.
Don't worry Natalie, it is for me, not you!

Top for Natalie,

that has been waiting for me to make for about 5 months.
Sorry it took soooooo long.

And 12 burb diapers.
Embroidered 9 of them and ribbon on 3.

Next on the agenda is

2 skirts and 2 blouses for me,

2 pairs of shorts and a skirt for Jackie

Utah State Fair

Monday Paul and I went to the
Utah State Fair.
The cattle catching was fun.

The best part of the fair on Monday,
wassssssss
kids got in free, $2 off adult prices,
AND
all the ice cream you could eat for only
$3.00!!!
Paul and I had lots of ice cream.
YUMMY!!!!!!

9-12 Project

This past Saturday Paul and I
went to the 9-12 Project
held at the Utah State
Capitol,
Lots of good signs were displayed.

Grandpa Hemingway is visiting

Grandpa Hemingway is

spending a few days with us.

His wife, Nola Marie is in the

hospital. She had a

pacemaker "installed" yesterday;

unfortunately there was a complication

and she had to stay in the hospital over night.

Looks like she will be OK and coming home

on Friday afternoon.

Grandpa Vernon

has dementia and doesn't understand

why we won't take him home.

"If no one will take me home, then I will just have to walk myself"

he told me and Paul.

Vernon is a sweetie; hopefully he will get his wish

tomorrow!

Maggie and Meisje

Labor Day Picnic

We had a fun family/neighbor picnic yesterday.

3 sets of neighbors plus, Schofield's

Hall's and 1 Danaher

We had lots of Great food and lots of

good times

Sheep herding trials

Saturday we went to Soldier's Hollow to watch the sheep herding trials.

This is neat video of a border collie doing it's thing.
It was very interesting,
we also watched a
"Wild Wonder's Animal Show",
Duck Herding demo,
Ultimate Canines Dog Entertainment show
( thought the dog shows on America's got Talent were
much better)

The camera battery died early on,
so we do not have any pictures of the
Splash Dogs Competition.
This was really cool,
any dog, (mostly Labs) would run
off of a long trailer into a pool.
The amount of "Air" they got was
great!
Tucker would love it!!!
